Reed Westcott

Principal

Reed Westcott is the founding principal of Minot Strategies. Reed is an experienced government affairs executive, with nearly a decade of experience working with legislators, regulators, Fortune 500 executives, business leaders, and government affairs professionals.

A recognized expert on taxation and trade, Reed has testified before Congress, appeared on panels and given speeches across the country, and has been cited by a variety of media outlets.

Previously, Reed served as the Executive Director of the Small Business Exporters Association (SBEA) and Vice President of Government Affairs & Federal Policy for the National Small Business Association (NSBA), where he was responsible for the development and implementation of the advocacy strategy for the nation’s oldest small business advocacy group.

Reed joined NSBA from Airlines for America (A4A), where he worked across the Federal, State & Local, and International Government Affairs teams. He gained additional experience on Capitol Hill in the offices of Speaker Paul D. Ryan and Congressman Bill Shuster.

Reed is a graduate of The George Washington University with a double major in History and Political Science.
